Our Mission
The mission of Sanford Temple Church of God in Christ is to reach all people, young and old through the gospel of Jesus Christ. To empower each individual to excel to their maximum potential in Christ and then use their ministry gifts to impart back into the harvest. It is our goal to reach out to the community and the homeless to provide food, clothing and spiritual counseling. It is also the duty of the church to minister to the total man, and spiritually support and maintain the whole family.
Our Vision
Sanford’s Temple Church of God in Christ is committed to the person of Jesus Christ and we base our teaching upon God’s revealed word, the Bible. It is our desire that people come to place their trust in Christ to forgive and lead them, that they may grow in their relationship with Him.
We seek to provide regular teaching and preaching of the Bible, meaningful times of worship, opportunities for fellowship, prayer, outreach, and numerous other ministries for people of all ages.
Our Leadership Team
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believer for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
